Super Bowl ads: Chrysler gets philosophical with Clint Eastwood
Power to the people! The people of Detroit and the domestic auto manufacturers to be exact, as they were the theme of a Chrysler Super Bowl ad voiced by the legendary Clint Eastwood. The theme was extended to the rest of America by comparing the current prosperous state of America's automakers with the halftime mark of the Super Bowl, implying the best is yet to come. Among a sea of silly Super Bowl ads, this one stood out as anything but. But for us, it took the serious tone of last year's Eminem "Imported from Detroit" spot a little too far.
